England For The World Cup!
I can't wait for the football to kick off, if only because it means Deke is going to be here for the first couple of weeks as he's taken them off to enjoy it. Now I knows most of my fellow Welsh will look in horror at the title of this post as they all hates the English. I get really upset by this, they just shows their ignorance of history and the world and stuff, we should all just love each other and get along.
It shocks me how most of us Welsh choose to ignore our history - up until about the 1700s or something ancient, the whole of Wales was known by the name West England, until the Welsh speakers invaded from the North, driving all the English back to Crewe, Hereford and Bristol, where they built Otter's Dyke to keep the Welsh invaders from taking over the East of England.
I went for a shag by Otter's Dyke once, it was a bit grim - the Dyke I mean, not the shag. The Escort broke down on the way back. It's not a nice place, but if the English hadn't of built it, the whole of the UK would be speaking Welsh and have no manners by now.
I'm not a big football fan to be honest. Tyson loves going down the City when he can blag a ticket, but it's a bit too much of a bloke thing for me. I'll enjoy the world cup though, as it's always a bit more exciting, especially with all the new stuff they are bringing into the game.
It should be good, finally England are in with a chance of winning, now they's trying out them robotic feet, like the one I keep seeing Wayne Rooney wearing. If they work, it should make for some extra long penalities and coversions! I hope they introduce robotic feet in rugby as well, I'm sure Gavin Henson would love some and look dead lush!
Anyway, stuff to sort, Bingo tonight again, plus I can get boozed up. Haven't had a drop since Monday (it was a bank holiday!) Good luck to England and I hopes they do well and then the whole of West England can celebrate! If I get's a good hangover tonight, it might cover up the morning sickness tomorrows! Drinking large amounts alcohol during pregnacy is not good even if you do it on weekends only!!!!!
